Sophrology is a brief therapy invented by a neuropsychiatrist, Dr. Alfonso Caycedo. It is an essential tool for anyone who wants to improve their well-being and develop their physical or mental performance.
Sophrology is a mind-body discipline that can be practiced by everyone, and it can be adapted to all (regardless of physical condition, children, teenagers, adults, elderly).
It is the roadmap. Your sophrologist designs exercises that are consistent with the objectives you want to achieve. The protocol is flexible and adaptable to your rhythm and constraints.
With a personalized program, you can practice at home, or in the office … you will find many ways to practice dynamic relaxation, it’s up to you to choose according to your needs, the proposed schedule and your schedule.
Based on your needs and its degree of intensity, the program takes 10 sessions to be effective. The duration of each session is 60 minutes.
During the sessions, after a moment of exchange and discussion about your situation, the sophrologist will guide you toward a personalized practice adapted to your needs.
After the practice time, we take the time to exchange your feelings and the evolution of your situation. We can decide together to record (in audio) the practice so that you can practice between sessions, independently and at your own pace.
Yes. Online sessions are a great way to practice sophrology regularly in the comfort of your home or office, without traveling and being able to adapt the practice directly to your environment.
I have been doing so since pandemic lockdowns, and I have adapted the practice while keeping the same quality of session as when we practice in person.
It is advisable to check that you have a good internet connection and that you can settle down in a quiet place, without being disturbed too much.
